the athena behind athena does art

Hi! My name is Athena (yes, really!) and I’m the person behind Athena Does Art. I started an Instagram out of fun so I could have a space where I could share my art. It wasn’t until about a year ago that I started to get serious with it. I have never taken a formal art class so this has all been experimenting, with lots of trial and error. I am inspired by lots of different things, which you will find reflected in my art. All are welcome here and I hope you enjoy my works as much as I enjoy making it.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Athena (¡si, de veras!) y soy la persona detrás de Athena Does Art. Comencé con una página en Instagram por diversión y para poder tener un espacio en donde compartir mi arte. No fue hasta como hace un año que lo empecé a tomar en serio. Nunca he tomado una clase formal de arte así que todo ha sido experimentando, con muchos errores en el camino. Me inspiran distintas cosas, las cuales las verán reflejadas en mi arte. Todxs son bienvenidxs y espero que disfruten mi trabajo tanto como yo disfruto hacerlo.
